APT D103 APHRODITE SANDS CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Great location!
Clean spacious apartment, Excellent swimming pool for children and adults. The lady on reception was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her, we would love to stay again.
Jane has been very helpful from booking the apartment to the very end of returning the deposit. Looking forward to booking with you again.
Thank you,

“One good holiday choice!”
Spacious apartment, located conveniently on the outskirts of the village of Mandria and not too far from the beach. It's fully equipped thus making a family's stay hassle free. Recommended!

“Lovely Apartment”

We visited for a few nights and was very pleasantly surprised with the apartment. Its located in a lovely village and walking distance to the local shop and few restaurants. (The Fish&Chip restaurant is a must!) The apartment itself is very spacious with two good sized bedrooms, lounge area with a comfortable sofa which an be used as a sofa bed if need be.

The kitchen is well stocked for any self catering needs. The full size fridge and washing machine are a bonus. The apartment itself is very well maintained. The balcony area is a big space overlooking the two pools, plenty of sunshine in the mornings on this area which was lovely. We had a fabulous stay and would recommend the apartment to anyone wanted to be based a short car ride from the centre of Paphos.

Thank you...
I would like to thank Jane and her team for a fabulous stay at Aphrodite Sands complex. Booking was simple, instructions and directions to the complex were great. The apartment, complex and location were perfect. Both me and my husband had a terrific holiday and will definitely return next time bringing the family. Top marks folks. The food and the welcome in the village were also amazing, a lovely place to stay.

Lovely apartment in excellent complex

Just returned from 10 days in apartment D103. The apartment is excellent, well equipped, very clean and marvellous balcony overlooking the bigger of two pools. We arrived at 10.30 at night. Thanks to Narinder's excellent directions we were in our apartment and having a drink overlooking the pool in no time at all. The complex is lovely, well tended gardens and very clean pools. Jade in the Waterside office was extremely helpful. I contacted her about arranging a taxi from the airport prior to our arrival and she sorted it out brilliantly. She also organised a hire car for us. This is a lovely spot, Mandria village is only a short walk away and we ate at four very good restaurants. The mini market provided all the essentials we needed but you need to be aware there is no cash point in Mandria anymore. If you want a quiet, relaxing holiday and are happy to hire a car this is an excellent place to stay.

Clean, modern apartment nice quiet location a car is a must.

The apartment itself was very clean modern and no real faults at all. Overall our experience was good a few niggly things that if changed could vastly improve the experience as follows: 1. Entry took a few attempts with the key boxes and some pictures of them so you know exactly what you are looking fro and how to operate would be helpful. 2. A few washing up items would be welcomed - say washing up liquid and a few washing tabs. 3. perhaps a small welcome pack of say milk, bread, biscuits would be a great sight when arriving late at night. And whilst there was salt and oregano - also useful would be black pepper, olive oil perhaps? 4. Wi-fi access you can only buy onsite at extremely high price of EUR5 per day per device - if like most people you have laptop, tablet and smartphone then you can see this mounting up pretty quickly to a ridiculous amount. Also if you arrive on a sunday or late then no chance to get any access at all. This is a rip-off we all know that the cost of wifi is pretty small so complimentary access should be part of the price for as many devices as you want. Probably item 4 was the most annoying for me. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay.

Spacious and well equipment luxury apartment within a beautiful small complex with fab Spa

We have just returned from a very relaxing week at Aphrodite Sands. Apartment D103 was everything we were expecting and more. Very spacious inside and out - the large balcony overlooking the pool was fully utilised. This was our 3rd visit to Aphrodite Sands and we just love the complex with its wonderful Spa on hand to provide some pampering. My son enjoyed the gym and I liked lounging by the pool. No need for an early start to book a sun bed as there were always some available. On site wifi was useful and the choice of places to eat and drink in the village was great. Easy access to Paphos is a plus as was the short taxi run from the Airport.

Excellent, peaceful location

We've stayed at Aphrodite Sands before. It's a lovely resort, really well taken care of. Pool lovely as is the spa and gym. The ladies in the spa are extremely helpful and the treatments well price.

Just what we wanted!

This is a lovely complex for people who don't want to be in the middle of a busy touristy area (i.e. in Paphos). We stayed with our 3 children ages 5, 7, and 9. It was not busy at all and a nice mix of tourists and ex-pats living in the complex. Our children had great fun playing with others in the pool and the small playground. The location (Mandria) makes it very easy to get onto the main roads to explore different parts of Cyprus, but you do need a car. Mandria has several Taverns for eating and a small grocery store. Our well equipped kitchen made it easy for us to either eat out or in. Our enormous balcony was lovely for having breakfast or dinner. Honestly can't think of anything negative to say! Would highly recommend.

Luxury in beautiful surroundings! Will be back!

Believe the descriptions of apartment D103 and the Aphrodite Sands resort - they really are true!! The apartment was ideally located on the 1st floor and had the Sun pretty much all day long. Inside it felt spacious - plenty big enough for us (2 adults, 2 kids aged 9 and 7). It was also spotlessly clean. Outside, the surroundings are beautiful. 2 lovely pools with amble space to relax - sunbeds provided! In Oct, there was a good balance of people - not too many, not too few. There's also a little playpark (swings and a see-saw). Underneath the pools there is a full luxury SPA offering all the sorts of treatments one might expect (obviously at extra cost). Those staying in the apartment can use the Jacuzzi (we were in it every night!), the steam/sauna rooms, and the Gym (we left that to itself :) )
The apartment is near Mandria village. Mandria is about 5-10 mins drive from Paphos Airport in the opposite direction to Paphos, which is 20-25 mins away by motorway. Compared to the Aphrodite Sands Resort complex, Mandria's not much to write home about, but give it a couple of years and that will change - it's definitely an up and coming area! The Fish and Chip restaurant (sorry don't remember the name) is fantastic -well worth a visit - portions are huge! The weather! We went for the Scottish half-term in Oct. We had one cloudyish day (more like a typical Scottish Summers day!). Every other day, it was cloudless skies (24-27 degrees day, 17-19 degrees at night). Glorious! Some negatives (for the benefit of others): 1) Apartment D103 and the SPA are not suitable for those with mobility issues - stairs are the only way to access them both (apologies if I've got that wrong). 2) If the people in the adjacent apartments are smokers and doing so on their balcony, you may not be able to escape the cigarette smoke without going inside. 3) The extractor in the ensuite is a bit noisy and could maybe do with being repaired/replaced. Summary: Our family would definitely recommend apartment D103 in Aphrodite Sands Resort, and we'd definitely go back.
